Taking Charge of Your Heart Health

Everyone has heard of cholesterol, but do you really know what it is and how it affects your health?

We want to broaden your understanding and arm you with the knowledge you need to make a plan and reach your goals.

The four virtual sessions in our free Cholesterol Master Class are designed to provide education and tools to get your LDL to the Safe Zone, control your cholesterol, control other lipids such as HDL and triglycerides, and reduce your risk for heart attack and stroke.

Session 1: All About Cholesterol and Heart Health

Let’s start at the very beginning. In this session, you’ll learn what cholesterol is, how it works in the body, and how it can cause cardiovascular events.

When: November 1, 2023

Session 3: Understanding Medication Options

Some people will need medication to get their LDL to the Safe Zone and get their cholesterol under control. Today, there are a variety of medications available, and we’ll walk through each of them.

When: November 15, 2023

Session 2: Considering Diet and Lifestyle

For most people the first step in improving their cholesterol profile is making diet and lifestyle changes – but what changes are the right changes? We’ll discuss ways to have an impact on your heart health.

When: November 8, 2023

Session 4: How to Make the Most of a Doctor's Visit

When it’s time for a visit to your health care provider, you may be wondering where do I even begin? In this session, we’ll talk about how to make the most of your next visit with your doctor or other health care provider.

When: November 29, 2023
