Welcome Chairwoman of the Board of the Family Heart Foundation, Stacey Lane, JD

We are pleased to announce that Stacey Lane, JD, is the newly elected Chairwoman of the Board of the Family Heart Foundation. Ms. Lane has contributed greatly to the growth of the Family Heart Foundation, serving as a board member for the past six years and Vice Chair for the last four years. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Lane received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a Master’s Degree in Bioethics from Penn, with a concentration in public policy and regulation of new medical technologies. In addition to her work with the Family Heart Foundation, Ms. Lane is a member of the Board of Trustees of Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx and is working on several bioethics initiatives in the New York area.

the Family Heart Foundation would also like to acknowledge William Neal, MD, for his service as the Chairman of the Board since 2015. Dr. Neal’s dedication to the cause has been absolute and his humble, calm and steady leadership advanced the exciting work accomplished by the Foundation during his tenure, which spanned multiple high profile efforts including the CASCADE FH Registry, FIND FH, and FOCUS (FH Optimal Care for the U.S.). He served on the publications committee and played a key role in our advocacy and fundraising efforts. We look forward to his continued involvement as Chair Emeritus.

Finally, we would like to thank all of our board members for their ongoing dedication and support. Each of them volunteers countless hours to further the innovation, research and educational services provided by the Family Heart Foundation.
